This role is responsible to supervise the day-to-day activities of assigned team and ensure efficient support for corporate retail stores in all aspects of retail pricing such as regular and promotional retails, electronic marketing offers, unctionality, invoice reconciliation, item authorizations, scale management, etc. Thie role will also review and improve processes and procedures, within the team and cross-functionally, to ensure data accuracy and accountability and track team performance.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Lead the accurate and timely execution of retail data hosting activity including weekly ads, electronic marketing campaigns, price changes, fuel rewards, scale management, product anchor groups, item status, store authorization, etc.
Oversee all aspects of the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) vendor and item maintenance (i.e. new items, authorizations, cost/retail changes, promotional allowances, vendor invoice reconciliation, etc.) to ensure accurate and timely processing according to established timelines.
Monitor and maintain the retail pricing hotline call log and department email boxes; assist with follow up to determine areas of opportunity and/or address any issues as appropriate.
Review and test point of sale scanning processes to identify, resolve, and mitigate issues prior to corporate store offer activation.
Review, assign, and re-allocate workloads for team to ensure assignments are completed in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining accuracy and excellent customer service; plan and create schedules accordingly to control costs on labor.
Provide ongoing training and guidance to maintain efficient support with ever changing business and retail system needs; assist team to resolve escalated issues as needed.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Associate's Degree (Required) in Business Administration, Information Technology, Accounting, Merchandising, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years retail pricing, retail operations, or merchandising experience to include prior supervisory/lead experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organization, prioritization, customer service and attention to detail skills.
Must be able to lead and motivate a team to meet changing deadlines while ensuring accuracy.
Ability to problem solve and delegate work.
Proficient in MS office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).
Must be willing to support seven-day retail operations with weekend on-call support.
