Together, We Serve
SpartanNash Associates give back to our communities and each other by volunteering with nonprofit organizations, through donations to our SpartanNash Foundation fundraisers and pledge campaigns, and by working together during Helping Hands Day, an annual day of volunteering for our corporate offices. In 2023, we launched our Associate Hardship Fund, which provides assistance to Associates facing financial hardship after an unforeseen personal event or natural disaster.
Providing Disaster Relief
SpartanNash is committed to helping communities impacted by natural disasters, and with a vast distribution network, we are uniquely equipped to provide aid when and where it is most needed. Since 2021, we have partnered with Convoy of Hope, Global Empowerment Mission, World Central Kitchen, American Red Cross and the Salvation Army in distributing products to areas experiencing disaster.
The Power of Volunteering
SpartanNash Associates give back to their communities through volunteer efforts, building local relationships with one another and with their favorite nonprofit organizations and causes. As a company, we support our Associates who have, on their own, made a commitment to volunteering, and we want to inspire other Associates to begin or increase their volunteering efforts. In this way, we can continually build stronger communities for our families and neighbors.
