Internship Overview

What a SpartanNash internship does for you

SpartanNash internships equip college students with a variety of experiences in their desired field of study, the opportunity to network with company leaders and other interns, and ongoing leadership training. Our interns are given real-world work and responsibility in a highly supportive coaching environment. At the end of the internship, we strive to offer interns the opportunity to continue working part time and ultimately convert to a permanent full-time position after graduation.

What to expect during a SpartanNash internship

While the exact experience varies from department to department, our 12-week paid program includes leadership training, real-life work experience to help build a solid resume, personal interaction with SpartanNash's Executive Leadership Team and fun events for the intern class to get to know each other.

What makes a SpartanNash internship unique

In addition to the experience you'll gain, you will love working at our Grand Rapids, Mich. headquarters, with plenty of advantages like an onsite Starbucks, cafe, game room and more. You might get to participate in something amazing, like how our 2022 interns broke the Guinness World Record for the largest packaged food word – and then donated all 5,791 food items to a local charity.
