The Category Analyst supports strategic accounts by providing analytical insights, reporting, and operational support that drive business performance. This role serves as a key partner to sales, supply chain, customer teams, and cross-functional stakeholders by monitoring business trends, identifying opportunities, and helping execute customer initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual will leverage data and reporting to support decision-making, track performance metrics, resolve issues, and ensure successful execution of customer programs and initiatives.

Education:
Bachelors required or equivalent education/experience.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Responsibilities:
- Prepare various analyses of customer performance, track inbound and outbound inventory trends, pricing management, and setting up new and deleted items.
- Identify root causes related to item setup, pricing, inventory, and code dates
- New item and assortment catalog management
- Assist in the development and adoption of business reports to support the organization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve setup issues, ensure pricing accuracy, and support seasonal asks
- Maintain cross-functional relationships with various levels and departments in and outside the organization.
- Support process improvements to reduce shrink and improve product movement
- Use systems like PowerBI to monitor trends and drive data-informed decisions.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
