As a Training Supervisor, you will own the new hire experience and play a key role in establishing a culture of growth and development for all nonexempt, newly hired warehouse employees. This role will be fully dedicated to warehouse Training and will lead, coach, and develop a team of Trainers and Trainees. The Training Supervisor will be required to plan, organize & oversee new employee training programs as well as maintaining a safe and productive learning environment that drives established KPIs.
Essential Functions:
- Partner with Manager to hire, develop and retain a team of Trainers and make hiring recommendations for Trainees.
- Conduct frequent floor observations and coach Trainers on how to enhance individual and team performance to achieve company initiatives.
- Effectively lead, assess, and participate in the design, development, and implementation of new training programs for nonexempt employees.
- Use appropriate performance management techniques to address performance gaps and take corrective action, as needed, to ensure Trainers and Trainees are delivering on KPIs.
- Ensure all new hires receive and understand corporate delivered materials and information intended for a successful orientation and training of new associates.
- Assess business conditions and take action to address opportunities to improve training and safety.
- Provide regular updates to the Field Training Team to ensure alignment to and proper execution of organization wide Training initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement in local and corporate activities that create a Training Experience aligned with the C&S Values and Purpose.
- As a member of the leadership team, prepare action plans, formulate, and present training metrics that assess the impact of employee coaching, development, and training.

Position Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience in retail operations, distribution, transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Prior experience as a warehouse trainer. Experience as a warehouse training supervisor is highly desired.
- Previous experience delivering training materials and programs
- Must be dependable, and deadline oriented.
- Must follow policies and procedures
- Experience solving routine technical and operational problems
- Experience communicating within a team or department
