Position Summary:

This role is responsible for vendor activities including billings, compliance reporting and overall vendor communication. support to assigned categories to include a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall success of the Supply Chain Inventory Control t team. These tasks include interacting on a daily basis with the Supply Chain team, purchasing, DC inventory control.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Responsible for Advanced Ship Notice (ASN) billing including; projected period billings, accurate billings, compliance reporting, and vendor communication.
  • Calculate Gross Margin Return on Investment (GMROI), New Item Performance, and work with accounting to analyze the Obsolete Inventory reporting for actions.
  • Meet with Merchandisers, Buyers, and Vendors to discuss inventory, scorecards, guaranteed minimum dating/shelf lives, etc.
  • Research repay requests for ASN, Fill Rates, Dock Deductions, etc and propose process changes to prevent future repays.
  • Oversight of Inbound Fill Rate/Cases on Time and performance.
  • Analyze top 20 issues and support execution of decision trees for excess inventory, at risk inventory, non-performing inventory, etc.
  • Modify reports and dashboards as changes need to be made in Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy, PeopleSoft,Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Execute test plans for new processes, system upgrades, etc.
  • Provide training and/or assistance to Supply Chain Inventory Control Assistants.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Associate's Degree (Preferred) Logistics, Supply Chain or other related fields or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Two years Retail, Merchandising, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Billing/Invoicing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have good organizational, prioritization, problem solving and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Must have knowledge of Query tools such as Studio, Cognos and EIS.

While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a typical office environment and is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions. Temperatures may vary for those subject to any of the following areas: computer/server room, print shop, production area). The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate but may be high in distribution settings. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
