Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing multiple small to medium projects within the Infrastructure, Security, and Operations (ISO) teams. This role will be responsible for owning, planning, executing, and monitoring project deliverables with minor oversight by leader. This role will manage projects from start to finish including manages project risks, issues, schedules and the capital project budget for labor, professional services, hardware, and software as needed.

The project manager will track and manage key performance indicators (budget, risk, scope, timeline), and provide weekly status reports to the ISO leadership team.

Here is what you will do:

  • Develops project plans in consultation with stakeholders.

  • Collaborates and develops working relationships with affected stakeholders at all levels and will ensure that team members are kept appropriately informed of project activities.

  • Works with ISO team leaders, outlining resources required to successfully complete each project.

  • Monitors team performance to ensure excellence and adherence to deadlines.

  • Develops and follows up on project plans, timelines, schedules, and budgets under the guidance of leadership, or senior project managers.

  • Coordinates and executes project related tasks within the ISO team, such as ensuring team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines and work is completed on time and within scope.

  • Contributes to problem-solving efforts and provides support in resolving issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

  • Keeps project team and stakeholders informed about project progress, changes, and any issues that may affect the project.

  • Provides regular status reports (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) to project stakeholders, including the project sponsor, senior management, and team members.

  • Assists in determining the objectives and measures upon which a project will be evaluated at its completion; monitors the progress of the project and makes adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project; reviews the quality of the work completed with the project teams to ensure that it meets the project standards; evaluates the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Plans to obtain Project Management Professional (PMP) license (preferred)

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Working experience/knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, including internships

  • Enthusiasm for developing project management skills.

  • Project management certifications a plus.

  • Ability to prioritize demands from multiple projects

  • Ability to conduct training, communicate at panel discussions, and help project teams resolve conflicts.

The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate but may be high in distribution settings. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
