Job Description:

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing support to the OwnBrands Product Development team. The OwnBrands Merchandising Coordinator will work closely with the Product Development Managers daily to perform the essential functions of the job.

Here's what you’ll do:

  • Develops and maintains a detailed schedule which includes administrative tasks.
  • Assist, coordinate, and execute daily processes to optimize day-to-day functions of the business.
  • Builds promotional contracts for the merchandising department on a timely basis; loads promotional offers, verifies accuracy of promotional contracts and allowances, and drafts and releases pre-sells.
  • Supports Department Manager and other internal departments as needed to resolve contract issues, discrepancies, etc.
  • Manage timelines and communications for Department Manager.
  • Assists marketing team by providing supporting information for various promotional events and requests.
  • Responsible for cultivating lines of communication within the team to help facilitate a shared understanding of information.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • High School Diploma (Required) or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • One year retail, merchandising, or related experience.
  • Analytical and detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills. Ability to multi-task, complete assignments, and achieve desired results.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork amongst team, retail customers, manufacture partners, merchandising, marketing, and management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

May be required to lift and/or move 20 pounds. The associate is frequently required to sit/stand/walk. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a typical office environment and is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions. Temperatures may vary for those subject to any of the following areas: computer/server room, print shop, production area). The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate but may be high in distribution settings. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
