Job Description:

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing, scheduling, developing and producing all homemade products, including Kitchen Express and Caesar Salad Station items; Works with and trains others as needed and performs other duties to ensure that scheduled shifts are productive and contribute to the financial best interests of the store. Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory control to ensure freshness, product quality and turnover; extend or decrease recipes to meet desired quantities.

  • Assist with receiving and unloading deliveries; check and verify receivables for amount, quality, count or weight, condition and store in appropriate areas.

  • Stock to ensure quality protection, accuracy and product rotation.

  • Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.

  • Train others to perform all department activities and functions.

  • Manage the selection, scheduling, and supervision of others to meet or exceed departmental productivity levels as delegated by department manager.

  • Have familiarity with all products carried in the department; know differences in price, taste, preparation, use etc.

  • Develop new Kitchen Express recipes as well as recipes for the Caesar Station; assist in the preparation of all food products while following established recipes.

  • Wait on customers including slicing, cutting, weighing, packaging and pricing merchandise.

  • Maintain a clean, attractive and well stocked department.

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED)

  • Proficient Computer (email, spreadsheets, etc)

  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.

  • Accounting/Bookkeeping skills

  • Delegate/Direct/Implement

  • Suggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products

  • Detail Oriented
