Position Summary:
This role is responsible to provide administrative support within the distribution center, supporting warehouse maintenance. Supporting the maintenance team by maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Provide support to the maintenance team through organizing and maintaining the CMMS.
- Create work order for preventive maintenance (PM), scheduled maintenance and emergency repair.
- Maintain the maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) parts inventory. Processing and preparing purchase orders, regular inventory counting, determining enventory levels and receiving parts for inventory.
- Create and issue PM schedules for to the Maintenance Manager for distribution to the maintenance team
- Organize and document maintenance powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment, maintenance facilities equipment (fire suppression, refrigeration and loading dock equipment etc…), maintain accurate up to date equipment lists.
- Process and prepare maintenance reports utilizing the CMMS system
- Work with external vendors to develop relationships and ensure cost effective, timely delivery of MRO parts through purchasing and / or consignment inventory.
- Must follow safe working practices in accordance with Company safety policies and practices.
- Maintain and work with HVAC equipment software (TrakRef)
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Must be able to work within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently within a fast-paced warehouse operation.
- Proficient computer skills, knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Must have good data entry skills and attention to detail, and effective organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
- High School Diploma (Preferred) or GED preferred.
- Validate data from various sources to ensure documentation is accurate.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and good customer service skills.

Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
